1. Caramelized onion and thyme Tarts

Sauté chopped onion in a little oil in a saucepan. When you see the color changing, add vinegar and sugar to the pan. Remove the pan when the color deepens. Now preheat your oven at 200 degree Celsius. Cut the pastry into small circles and place it on a oiled tray. Spread onions on the top and garnish it with thyme and seasonings.

2. Rosemary Salted Nuts

This snack is an all-time favorite. It can be made easily and can be stored in jars. Serve it whenever you want to. Just preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius. Place nuts and rosemary on a roasting dish and bake for fifteen minutes. Once they are golden, change sides. Now drizzle some oil over them and garnish with sea salt. Mix well and keep it in the jar.

3. Corn Fritters with Goat Cheese and Strawberries

This finger food recipe is a sure shot success. It is a mix of vegetables with strawberries. Loaded with nutrients, this recipe is sure to flatter your guests. All you need to do is sauté corn in olive oil over medium heat. Now add spring onions to this and keep aside.

Now add pomegranate seeds, flour, soda, beaten eggs and seasoning according to taste. In a pan heat some oil and make this mixture into small balls. Heat 4 balls at a time until golden. Put them onto a paper napkin and cover them. Garnish with strawberries, cheese or Lebanese cucumber before serving.

4. Coconut Prawns

Make it by separating corn flour, egg-white and coconut in different plates. Place prawns into skewers and dust it with corn flour and salt. Now dip it in egg-white and then roll it with coconut till coated well.

Heat oil in a frying pan, and fry the prawns one by one until crisp. Place them on a paper napkin before serving. Serve with salsa or coriander sauce.

5. Chicken Meat Balls

This finger food is a delight for the taste-buds. It has the goodness of chicken and lots of protein.  It makes a good snack too! Combine chicken mince, whipped egg, onions, coriander, grated ginger and lime juice.

Mix these ingredients well and make them into small balls. Place these balls in the container and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and fry these balls one by one. Make sure they change color and become crisp. For low calorie you can also try baking them. Serve them with chilli sauce.

6. Prawn- Corn Balls

Combined with prawn, corn and coconut, this starter is a sure shit success for any party. Easy to make and yummy to taste! Mix prawns, corn, corn flour, baking powder and coconut in a bowl. Make a hole in this mixture and pour in egg, coconut cream and soy sauce.

Heat oil in a pan and put in some bread crumbs, fry them until golden. Now make small balls of the mixture and fry until crisp. Drain the balls on a paper napkin and serve with chilli sauce.

This is a great dish with drinks and serves as a good finger food. It involves very less cooking and can be made in very less time. Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius. Place nuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, fennel seeds on a tray and bake for 15-20 minutes. Now add butter, garlic, ginger, oil, noodles. Bake again for 5 minutes and store in jar after cooling.

8. Crostini with Olives

This is a lovely starter, both to see and eat. It has the goodness of vegetables with olives and cheese. This finger food can be made easily by preheating oven to 180 degree Celsius and grill capsicums till the skin has blackened and blistered. Cut the baguettes into two, coat them with butter and put them on a baking tray. Cook until golden brown. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté onions, garlic, olives, thyme, and artichokes until crisp.

Remove the skin of the capsicum and cut it into thin strips removing all the seeds. Place a spoon of olive mixture on each crostini and garnish with parsley and capsicum. Serve with tomato or chilli sauce.
